#BOUAKÉ | COHORT 6: YOUNG PEOPLE LEARN JOB SEARCH TECHNIQUES

📍 #Bouaké

Did you know that over 70% of job opportunities are secured through proper preparation in job search techniques?

Today, beyond diplomas, companies are looking for candidates who can showcase their skills, present themselves effectively, and demonstrate their value during interviews.

As part of the #YouthJob program, our 2026 cohort beneficiaries attended a training session on Job Search Techniques, led by our trainer Mr. Boris Koffi.

This training covered several essential topics to strengthen youth employability:

🔹 Writing an impactful CV – understanding that a CV is a true marketing tool to highlight your experience, skills, and achievements to capture the recruiter’s attention.

🔹 Writing a motivation letter – discovering the “#mirror method,” a strategic approach that uses company information and needs to craft a relevant and convincing letter.

🔹 Preparing for job interviews – participants were equipped with key steps in the process, including pre-interview preparation, appropriate attitude during the interview, salary negotiation, and professional follow-up.

The training also featured a practical mock interview session, where participants alternated roles between recruiter and candidate. This exercise helped them better understand employer expectations, identify gaps, and correct common interview mistakes.
