#ABIDJAN | COHORT 6: SOFT SKILLS AT THE HEART OF PROFESSIONAL SUCCESS

📍 #Abidjan

Hard skills may help you get a job, but it is soft skills that help you grow and positively impact others.

On March 3, 2026, our beneficiaries took part in an enriching training session on #SoftSkills led by Mr. Aquilas Yao.

Through this session, they learned that success does not rely solely on technical competencies (#HardSkills) but also on human and behavioral skills, such as communication, critical thinking, empathy, adaptability, active listening, and stress management.

This course also highlighted an essential lesson: the first step toward personal development is self-awareness. Understanding one’s character, improving behavior, and strengthening one’s mindset are key elements for growth in both professional and personal life.

Through practical exercises and group discussions, participants reflected on their potential, the challenges they may face, and the actions they need to take to build a better future.
